About the artist
Zoe Barnett is a British classical guitarist recognised for her expressive performances, distinctive artistic voice, and innovative approach to concert presentation. Known for performing while standing, she brings a heightened sense of communication and freedom of movement to her performances, creating a compelling connection with audiences.
A graduate of the Royal College of Music, Zoe has embarked on an international performing career since 2024. Her appearances have included venues such as Wigmore Hall, Kings Place and Shanghai Grand Theatre. She has also appeared as a concerto soloist and is building a diverse career spanning solo, chamber, and contemporary repertoire.
Her artistic interests range from traditional classical repertoire to music inspired by global traditions, particularly works influenced by Persian and Latin American cultures.
Alongside her concert career, Zoe is a passionate educator and advocate for making classical guitar accessible to wider audiences. Through her online performances she has reached millions of viewers worldwide and developed an international following.
